DeadPool Pencil Bag

  • [media-downloader media_id=”88″ texts=”Printable Deadpool Craft Logos”]
  • 1 freezer quality quart size sliding ziplock bag
  • Black, red, and white colored duct tape
  • Sturdy ruler with a metal edge
  • self healing cutting mat
  • Xacto knife
  • regular craft scissors
  1. Measure off about four inches from the slider and cut off the bottom.  Tape it down to your self healing cutting mat with some painters tape.  Begin to lay the black duct tape across the ziplock bag one side leaving an overlap at the bottom.  Turn it over and fold the bottom up onto the other side.  Then cover the other side with strips of black duct tape.  With your ruler and Xacto knife, cut off the raw edges of the tape.
  2. Measure the bottom and sides of the bag.  Cut strips of white tape approximately 1 inch thick and the length of the your bag bottom and sides.  Place the white tape on the bottom and sides to reinforce and embellish the bag.
  3. Download the logo from the supply list above.  Print and cut out all 3 pieces of the DeadPool face logo.  Overlap four strips of red duct tap on top of each other.  Place the template down and trace it.  Cut it out and center it on the pencil bag.
  4. To create the eyes, place a small piece of white duct tape on your cutting mat.  Using your template trace and cut out the eyes.  Then use the template to help place the eyes on the face.

  • At least one small round Perler bead board
  • red, black, and white perler beads
  • iron
  • parchment paper
  • E6000 glue
  • toothpick

Using the template pattern to the left create two pieces that look like this.  I did not use the outer ring of the board.  Then create two small connector pieces.  After all four pieces have been ironed and cooled, glue together with the E6000.  Let dry at least a few hours before using.

  1. Take the painters tape and cover the inside of the box.  Paint the outside of the box and let it dry.  Remove the tape.
  2. Download, print, and cutout the logos.  Arrange them on the top of the tin in the way you would like.  Apply a think layer of ModgePodge to the top of the tin to create a sealant for your logos.  When the first layer is dry, apply second layer to the top.
  3. When the entire project is dry, use your toothpick to apply glue around the edge of the box.
